Spam Awareness
Do not forward chain
letters, they are usually hoaxes and are mostly created to promote spam.
Chain letters are going around,
asking you to send it to everyone in your e-mail address threatening
serious damage to your computer, or offering money. These are
usually hoaxes, careful reading of what they threaten would demonstrate
how implausible they are.
extract of a recent one.
These letters clog up the system,
overload the Server Computers, and generally favour spammers. If
you would like to check if a circular letter is a hoax, check with the
Symantec website
During February this year, the
Olympic Torch Invitation hoax appeared again. This is hardly a new
hoax as it first appeared exactly four years ago.

Never
respond to spam, and do not use the unsubscribe links -
it merely confirms that spammers
have found a valid e-mail address. Remember that on many occasions
they are trying to guess e-mail addresses.
Only use unsubscribe links on bona
fide messages.
